The Czech Republic provided humanitarian assistance to Georgia hit by a war conflict.
Army special airplane transported medical material in amount of almost 2 millions CZK to affected area on 13 August 2008 . The trasported material: 41 000 psc of various bandages, 120 blood units, 160 units of blood plasma and 1000 ampoules of Albumin 50 ml.
Trasport and transmission of material humanitarian assistance ensured was by the unit of the Ministry of Interior – General Directorate of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in compositon of Jaromír Pešek and Albín Novák (FRS Prague)
This humanitarian assistance was organized by the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
