International exercise of rescue and medical teams, 8 - 11 June 2016 in Grossmittel and Tritolwerk.
The international exercise of rescue and medical teams took place on 8 – 11 June 2016 in Grossmittel and Tritolwerk (Army training area) in Austria. The topic of the exercise was an international assistance to a fictional land „Modulistan“ struck by an earthquake of magnitude of 7,2. In the exercise participated 286 practising people from 14 involved countries. Czech Republic was represented by Czech Emergency Response Team (CZERT) - Advanced Medical Point (AMP) Module, which consist of firefighters from FRS of Capital of Prague and employees of The University Hospital Brno.
The exercise took place under the auspices of EU Civil Protection.
