On 17 \u2013 21 October 2016 took place in Zagreb, Croatia an international module tactical exercise IPA Floods 2016.<\/p>\n
The exercise was organised under the term of European Project IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance), which is focused on preparedness, pevention and managing of emergencies in Balkan countries and Turkey. The general organisator was Italian Directorate of Civil Protection in coordination with European Commission and other member states of EU. MoI \u2013 DG FRS CZ decided about deployment of FRB ( Flood Rescue with using Boats) Module, that is situated in FRS of Moravian and Silesian Region.<\/p>\n
There are catastrophic floods in Croatia, in Zagreb area. Croatia requested for assistance in form of rescue and water pumping modules deployment, request is sent also to Czech Republic. The task of FRB Module was involving in rescue operation and coordination with local crisis management authority and coordination with local and external rescue bodies on \u2013 site.
